telephone reassurance, emergency assistance with food provisions, emotional support, monthly care packages, special events, resources and referrals and most recently our senior companion ministries program.

"Peace of mind" is how I'd sum up my experience with Dan and his staff/crew. From inception to completion (and even post-completion), they do everything possible to ensure that you're 100% satisfied with the results. They're with you every step of the way and tend to any need or concern promptly and with attention to detail. I consider myself very fortunate to have hired them and could not have been happier with the team and their work.
Review update: I hired Dwyer again for a 2nd time three years later. I had a drainage issue with the outside of my home that resulted in the guest room and office flooding. Dwyer came out, mitigated and demoed right away to prevent further damage, and scheduled the project in a timely manner to get me taken care of. My project manager, Domingo de Leon, was awesome to work with and really helped bring the best out of a stressful situation with how attentive and responsive he was.

I just got off the phone with my mom who spent at least 45 minutes raving about Alex and Damien. She had a flood at her house and her floors were ruined. During the repair process she had the worst luck and her HVAC developed a leak so the floor repairs couldn't proceed. Alex and Damien volunteered to come back on Saturday, their day off, once her HVAC was repaired. They put in a 10 hour day that day to help her. She's older and wheelchair bound and it was obvious to her that they really, really cared about her situation. We are so thankful for their excellent service. And the floors looks great! Thank you!

My basement flooded, and I lost it, someone referred me to Doan restoration, and I reached out they answered immediately and were at the house within the hour. The basement. What is about 2 foot in water And they had it out within an hour and had equipment on it. Papers work signed and we're out of there the whole process took less then 4 hours, Super professional and a great service!

Dwyer Restoration helped me track down a roof leak that I had been chasing for months. With spray foam insulation in the attic, finding the source was especially difficult, but their team identified the problem areas right away.
What stood out was their attention to detail and knowledge of roofing systems. The leaks were caused by subtle flashing issues that several other roofers had missed. They took the time to explain what they found and why it was causing the problem.
If you need a company to help diagnose water intrusion issues or handle restoration work, I would highly recommend Dwyer Restoration.

When there is construction, I believe some hiccups are to be expected. Dan Dwyer himself came out to access the situation after a breakdown in communication with my builder occurred and we were able to come to a solution quickly. In the end, I must say Dwyer restoration EXCEEDED my expectations and I couldn't be happier! THANK YOU MARIO AND DAN!

We had quite a bit of damage from a tornado/storm back in May 2024. So we needed a lot of work.
We had used Dwyer Restoration when we lived in Rockport Tx. Which was from Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
He was our Angel.
All the work then and now here in San Marcos TX. The staff and workers have done an outstanding job.
We have another project in the works now.
He is a man of word and will always leave the customer satisfied with the project.
We will continue to use Dwyer Restoration.

Dan and his entire crew were amazing. There were some hiccups along the way (had to change project managers part way through which was out of anyone’s hands). Our new project manager Edward was awesome. The one issue we had was with the subcontractor painting company. Dwyer built us beautiful new cabinets and to this day the paint job is what I would call “satisfactory.” In the end it was quite clear these painters were only going to do enough for a satisfactory job and that is where we left it because we didn’t want to have them come back for a 9th (literally) time. Dan Dwyer and Edward pushed hard to get them to fix things even going as far as to sit here and supervise while they worked. In the end the painters were just lazy and you can’t really fix that. The lesson here is absolutely use Dwyer Restoration. They are prompt, kind, fair, hardworking people and we would use them again in a heartbeat. Their internal survey got an 8/10 overall because of these painters but I do believe deserve a 5 star rating on here because they deserve your business and will not do you wrong. The second lesson is DO NOT use Carnival Painting if you actually want a quality paint job.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Dwyer Restoration to address significant water damage and mold issues in my home. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their service.
From the moment I contacted them, the team at Dwyer Restoration was responsive and professional. They arrived promptly for the initial assessment, thoroughly inspected the damage, and provided a clear and detailed schedule to address the issues.
The remediation work was carried out efficiently and meticulously. Their team also took great care to protect the unaffected areas of my home. I was particularly impressed with their attention to detail and commitment to quality. My cabinets were needing to be rebuilt, all drywall at the kitchen peninsula was replaced, textured, painted and caulked better than it had been previously when the home was new.
I highly recommend their services. Their professionalism, expertise, and dedication to customer satisfaction make them the best choice for home remediation needs.

We hired Dwyer to do a full kitchen remodel after consulting with a number of local remodel and restoration companies. Their bid was comprehensive and detailed (almost a little overwhelming). They were quick to answer questions and turn the bid back around with adjustments.
The trade workers were competent and always polite. There were a few bumps as I would have expected with any major project. Dwyer responded to each concern in a timely and fair manner. In the end we were very happy with the result and would be willing to use them again.
Some details about the project:
* removed a load-bearing column and replaced with a LVL span. This required adjusting plumbing, electrical and HVAC around the area, as well as working with the city and a structural engineer for approval.
* replaced 4' fluorescent bulb lighting with recessed LEDs.
* custom cabinets (amazing work on this!) and new counters. This included converting the kitchen island into a peninsula.
* rebuild pantry with a slightly different footprint to better utilize space.
The majority of the work was done over about 60 days, with touch-ups and adjustments going on about a month longer.

My neighbor ran his car through my house in December 2019. The entire left side of my house was a huge hole and destroyed. Dwyer Restoration was recommended as the "disaster specialists". I am SO GLAD I hired them out of the 7 others I had come out to give me bids. They were the absolute BEST in the business to work with. I found them to be exceptional in 3 areas specifically:
1. Communication
2. Professionalism
3. Cleanliness
There will always be bumps along the way with ANY restoration/renovation. The key is, to work with people that DO THE RIGHT THING. Dwyer ALWAYS came through no matter what and did the right thing. They handled every detail of my renovation as if it was their house and what they would want done.
Dan Dwyer held my hand throughout the entire insurance process daily and we were able to get things agreed upon due to this.
Mark Brown was my project manager and did a phenomenal job with scheduling and being there every time I called. He was a pleasure to work with and made everything seem so seamless.
Guido Krumm was the German Carpenter that did most of the work on my house. He was also a pleasure to work with. I fell blessed to have had such a knowledgeable and trustworthy person doing the work on my house.
I will ONLY hire Dwyer Restoration in the future for all of my renovation needs. I HIGHLY recommend them for your next project or disaster.
